The pump which is especially a motor and pump unit for a motor vehicle's servo steering system has a pressure limiting valve (16), with a fluid inlet (18) and a fluid outlet (20), a suction connection (22) for the fluid reservoir (14), and a pressure connection (24) for the user equipment (26). The fluid outlet of the pressure limiting valve is connected to the suction connection of the pump. The pump has a cover in which are integrated both the suction connection of the pump and a connection for the fluid outlet of the pressure limiting valve.
