<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheath for ceramic firing and a firing method of a ceramic formed body for improving yields by suppressing defective firing and a characteristic variation. <P>SOLUTION: The sheath 10 is provided with a frame part 11, and has a bottomless shape. The frame part 11 includes first upper surfaces 30 positioned on four corners, and second upper surfaces 32 positioned on first parts 11a, 11b. The second upper surfaces 32 are in a position lower than the first upper surfaces 30. A plurality of recessed parts 40 are formed on the second upper surfaces 32 of the first parts 11a, 11b. The frame part 11 includes first lower surfaces 36 positioned on the four corners and the second parts 11a, 11d of the frame part 11, and second lower surfaces 38 positioned on the first parts 11a, 11b. The second lower surfaces 38 are in a position higher than the first lower surface 36, and is positioned so that at least a part of the second lower surfaces are overlapped on the second upper surfaces 32 from a direction orthogonal to the second upper surfaces 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
