PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of dust penetration through an inserting port that is provided in the front surface section to store or eject a recording medium into or from the disk driver in which the recording medium such as an optical disk and a magneto-optical disk or the like is transported into the device and recording and reproducing are conducted for the recording medium. SOLUTION: In the disk drive unit, air tight material 5 is pasted on the peripheries of an opening hole 3a of a mechanical chassis 3 and an opening hole 4a of a door frame 4. The disk driver is provided with a front door 6 that closes the opening holes 3a and 4a by abutting to the air tight material sheet 5 and is provided with a pair of arm sections 6c, on which shaft sections 6d are formed on the tips and projected pins 6e are formed at the middle places, at both right and left ends, guide holes 4c which support the shaft sections 6d of the front door 6 so that the shaft sections 6d are rotatively made movable along an arrow marked A-B direction and are made movable along an arrow marked Y1-Y2 direction, cams 4d which support the projected pins 6e of the front door 6 so that the pins 6e are made freely rotative along the arrow marked A-B direction and are made freely movable along the arrow marked Y1-Y2 direction and a returning spring 7 which energizes the front door 6 so as to put it into a closed condition.
