PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building which includes a storage space for storing therein items of high usage frequency with good usability. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the building, at least part of partition walls 13, 14 partitioning the storage space 6 defined by a specific floor 2 and an intermediate floor 4, from the other space 3 formed on a specific floor 1, are located at respective recessed locations toward the storage space 6, and therefore the storage space 6 is divided into a first storage space 15 located behind the partition walls 13, 14, and second storage spaces 17, 18 located in front of the partition walls 13, 14 and opened toward the other space 3.
