PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately deposit an ink droplet on a deposition targeting position on an image forming face without being affected by wind even when there is irregularities on the image forming face. SOLUTION: A shielding body 5 having a plurality of strip pieces 5a is provided to be close to an inkjet head 4 in parallel along an arrangement direction of ink ejection nozzles 8. A driving section 9 for moving each strip piece 5a in a contact/separation direction to an image forming face 7a of an image forming object 7 to be conveyed by a conveyance section 3 is coupled to each strip piece 5a. The driving section 9 is driven so as to make a gap between the image forming face 7a and a reference portion of each strip piece 5a at the tip side to be constant according to a result detected by a sensor 6 for detecting the irregularity condition of the image forming face 7a. As a result, even when there is irregularities on the image forming face 7a, the shielding body 5 can prevent wind to pass through a portion between the ink ejection nozzles 8 and the image forming face 7a and ink droplets can be deposited on deposition targeting position without being affected by the wind so that a stable image can be formed.
