Bath or shower tray comprises a body (12) made from a flexible plastic, preferably a particle foam, especially expanded polypropylene. This has a covering layer (13) of water-impermeable film. Independent claims are included for: (A) a bath support (19) with a recess for insertion of the bath; (B) a method for making a bath or shower tray as described by preparing a mold, positioning water-impermeable film in it and foaming flexible plastic on to the film to form the bath or shower tray; and (C) a method for making a bath or shower tray as described by molding flexible particle foam to form the body, smoothing its surface with heat and/or steam and bonding a water-impermeable film to it.
