<p>A method for controlling the setting of the inking rollers in a rotary printing press has typically four inking rollers (2.1 to 2.4) each fitted with a cam follower roller (6.1 to 6.4) in contact with settings cams (3.1, 3.2) moved by settings servos (4.1, 4.2). From an initial position in which all four inking rollers are out of contact with the master cylinder (1), the cam drive moves the first two rollers (2.1, 2.2) into contact with the master cylinder, followed by the remaining two rollers in a following setting, followed by a final setting in which the last two rollers only are in contact with the master roller.</p> |
