<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery reducing fluctuation of capacity and securing designed capacity. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium ion battery is manufactured by immersing a wound group formed by winding a cathode plate using lithium manganate with a layered crystal structure as a cathode activator, an anode plate using amorphous carbon as an anode activator, through a separator made of polyethylene in a nonaqueous electrolyte solution. After initial charging, a charging capacity of the lithium ion battery is measured by charging the battery up to an upper limit of charging voltage by a charging current of 1C, and by making the battery discharge up to a charge finishing voltage by a discharging current of 1C. To the measured discharging capacity, the lithium ion battery is charged in a charged state of SOC 40% by the charging current of 1C, and the lithium ion battery in the above state is left for three days. The nonaqueous electrolyte solution is immersed into the cathode plate, and enabled to react with the total of lithium manganate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
