TOCOTRIENOL-CONTAINING POULTRY EGG

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tocotrienol-containing poultry egg with which tocotrienol can be readily taken by solving such a problem that it is difficult to take rice bran while the rice bran richly contains the tocotrienol as a material satisfactorily contributable to human health.

SOLUTION: The tocotrienol-containing poultry egg is obtained by feeding poultry with a tocotrienol-containing vegetable oil extract, particularly rice-bran oil extract so as to increase the content of the tocotrienol in the poultry. The poultry egg is reduced in the content of peroxide in the egg yolk and also has antioxidant effect.
