<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an electroconductive resin composition comprising a vapor phase-deposited carbon fiber and a resin emitting a small amount of gases, which suppresses generation of organic staining gases from resin materials, generation of moisture and adhesion of molecular staining substances to the surface of wrapping material devices, prevents deterioration of product yields and of qualities during storage and transfer thereby to enhance product reliability, permits washing and heating drying of a carrier together with components contained therein and has a stable specific volume resistivity of at most 10<SP>5</SP>Ωcm, and to provide a container for conveying electronics-related components and a container for conveying semiconductor-related components, manufactured using the same, such as carriers, cases or wrapping materials for conveying IC chips, wafers or hard disks. <P>SOLUTION: The electroconductive resin composition comprises the vapor phase-deposited carbon fiber (A1) having a fiber outside diameter of 80-500 nm and the resin (B), where (1) the vapor phase-deposited carbon fiber (A1) has an interplanar spacing d<SB>002</SB>of at most 0.345 nm and an aspect ratio of 40-1,000, (2) the vapor phase-deposited carbon fiber (A1)/resin (B) volume ratio [A1/B] is 0.5/99.5-12/88, (3) the electroconductive resin composition has a specific volume resistivity of at most 10<SP>5</SP>Ωcm and (4) the total amount of generated gases is at most 5 ppm when the electroconductive resin composition is heated at 80°C for 30 min.
