PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that focus control is not operated due to influence of wobbling when an optical disk having large wobbling equivalent quantity is reproduced. SOLUTION: The optical disk is rotated, an optical pick is driven vertically in the vertical direction of the optical disk in timing of a signal detecting a rotation angle of the optical disk, a focus drive value in the timing at which a focus of a light beam is positioned on a recording plane of the optical disk is detected, wobbling equivalent quantity is calculated from the focus drive value in detection points of three or more points per one round, wobbling equivalent quantity in an arbitrary rotation angle detection signal is applied previously as the focus drive value, focus control is performed by the arbitrary rotation angle detection signal.
