PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To redisperse a pigment aggregate included in ink without defective discharging of the ink from nozzles brought about, without irregularities of the re-dispersion brought about, and moreover without a printing speed affected. SOLUTION: When carrying out printing by an inkjet head to a surface of a recording medium 102 with the use of a liquid ink 108 which has a pigment dispersed in a dispersion medium, the pigment aggregate dispersed in the liquid ink 108 is re-dispersed by applying ultrasonic vibration to the liquid ink 108. The liquid ink 108 after the ultrasonic vibration is applied is stored in an ink storage part (dumper tank 157), and the liquid ink 108 stored in the ink storage part (dumper tank 157) is supplied to the inkjet head.
