TREATMENT OF EATING DISORDERS AND INDUCTION OF LIPOLYSIS

The present invention relates to PYY or functional equivalents thereof for use in pharmaceutical compositions. The pharmaceutical compositions are in particular useful in the treatment of eating disorders, such as disorders characterised by cravings and binges. The invention further discloses the use of said composition for regulation of lipolysis, e.g. stimulation of lipolysis for the treatment of obesity. The invention further relates to methods of treatment using said compositions. Further included is the combination of PYY or functional equivalents thereof with a secondary active ingredient such as an anti-emetic drug.
