摘要 <p>Transmission characteristics of feed-through are enhanced over a wide band. A feed-through optical module (100) comprising a dielectric substrate (1) on which a coplanar line with a rear surface conductor is formed and a high frequency component is mounted, and a frame (2) arranged thereon. A plurality of through electrodes (5, 6) are formed in the dielectric substrate (1) and the frame (2). Thicknesses of the dielectric substrate and the frame are respectively t1 and t2, arranging pitches of the through electrodes (5, 6) are respectively d1 and d2, dielectric constants of the dielectric substrate (1) and the frame (2) are respectively &epsiv;r1 and &epsiv;r2, the highest working frequency is f, and the speed of light is c0. The thickness t1 and t2 and the arranging pitch d1 and d2 satisfy the following expressions: t1&lt;C0/(4f.(&epsiv;r1-1)&lt;1/2&gt;), t2&lt;C0/(4f.(&epsiv;r2-1)&lt;1/2&gt;), d1&lt;C0/(4f.&epsiv;r1&lt;1/2&gt;), and d2&lt;C0/(4f.&epsiv;r2&lt;1/2&gt;).</p>
