<p>A saddle, especially for horses has a western design with the seat supported on cross bridges whose lower ends have sliding supports on bars attached to the saddle skirts. The design enables the saddle to easily adapt to the weight of the rider and to the anatomy of the horse. The bars extend over the length of the saddle while the cross bridges have a convex shape with a progressively flatter profile towards the rear of the saddle.</p> |
