PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the matter that two frame memories are required when such an arrangement as that image information is stored once in a frame memory and undergoes address correction before being stored in other frame memory is employed, and since the image information is taken out only at a frame rate dependent on the data rate of the final stage, fine blur correction is limited. SOLUTION: In a CMOS image sensor 10A having a blur correction function, a frame memory 14 for storing the signal of each pixel 111 of a pixel array part 11 is provided on the same chip 19 as that of the pixel array part 11, image data for a plurality of frames (a plurality of sheets) is read out from each pixel 111 of the pixel array part 11 at a rate higher than the data rate of the final stage, and then blur correction is carried out for every plurality of frames thus realizing finer blur correction.
