PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a battery system for taking out numerical data concerning use history of a battery. SOLUTION: The battery system is provided with a storage part of history information on the battery (data on at least one of a charging state of the battery, temperature, the number of times of discharging, operation time, or the like), a transmission part for converting the history information into flash signals of a light-emitting element for sending, and a light-acceptance element of a battery history read-out device for reading the flash signals of the light-emitting element 5 and taking out the history information of the storage part.
