PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply circuit that suppresses a surge voltage and also suppresses a snubber loss. SOLUTION: The switching power supply circuit is constituted such that: the primary side and the secondary side of the switching power supply circuit are isolated by a transformer 1; a center tap is arranged at the secondary side; an output choke L1 is connected to the center tap; and rectifying elements D1, D2 are connected to both ends of a secondary winding of the transformer T1. The switching power supply circuit is also characterized in that: capacitors C4, C5 are connected to cathodes of the rectifying elements D1, D2, respectively; anodes of diodes D4, D5 and resistors R4, R5 are connected to the capacitors C4, C5, respectively; anodes of the rectifying elements D1, D2 are connected to the diodes D4, D5, respectively; and the resistors R4, R5 are connected to output terminals of the output choke L1, thus forming a snubber circuit 10.
