PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt transfer device capable of obtaining a satisfactory transfer image. SOLUTION: The belt fixing device comprises: a first rotor 6 having an elastic layer on its surface, disposed inside a highly heat conductive endless belt 1 which has an elastic layer on its surface; a pressure rotor 5 forming a pressure part when it is in pressure contact with the endless belt, which has an elastic layer on its surface and is disposed in pressure contact with the first rotor through the endless belt; and a second rotor 2 having a heat generation source 4, disposed inside the endless belt 1. The endless belt can be heated by disposing, in a recording medium conveyance direction, the second rotor upstream of the pressure part formed when the endless belt and the second rotor are in pressure contact with each other. A first contact area is formed by the pressure rotor and the endless belt in such a manner that when the pressure rotor presses the first rotor, the pressure rotor is partly wrapped by the endless belt.
