PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine boarding a liquid crystal projector capable of displaying a large picture in spite of being a small and inexpensive display unit. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with: the transparent liquid crystal display unit 62 for generating and displaying a performance picture; and the liquid crystal projector 106 consisting of optical units (61 and 63) which irradiates the transparent liquid crystal display unit with light to project the performance picture on a screen arranged at a position opposing the player. In this case, the display unit 62 consists of: transparent liquid crystal; a storage device where the performance picture generated externally is plotted; and a display controller for reading the performance picture plotted in the storage device synchronizing with displaying timing and providing it to a transparent liquid crystal body.
