<p>A support frame for heat treatment of items, especially automobile sections, has a grid structure of metal strips (4) slit and clinked by cross points (5). The upper edges of the metal strips are shaped to hold the particular item, e.g. a door frame. The metal strips are cut from heat tolerant steel with a minimum thickness to minimise the thermal capacity and thereby reduce the energy requirements for the heating process.</p> |
