A circulation kinetics evaluation system comprises: a pulse wave detection means for detecting a pulse wave while applying an external pressure to a blood vessel; a pulse wave amplitude pattern formation means for forming a pulse wave amplitude pattern representative of dependence characteristics of the pulse wave amplitude on the external pressure from the detection values of the pulse wave detection means; a patten shape matching means means (executing step SST3) for specifying a pattern part including the envelope of pulse wave amplitude of at least a part of the pulse wave amplitude pattern and matching the rough pattern of polygon to the specified pattern part; and an index derivation means (executing step SST7) for deriving a circulation kinetics index concerning the dynamic characteristics of vessel and/or the pulse-out characteristics of heart based on the matched shape of the rough pattern.
