<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic firing sheath suitable for even a ceramic compact in which a small diameter through hole is formed, and a method of firing ceramic compacts. <P>SOLUTION: The sheath 10 is provided with a rectangular frame part 11 and a connecting part 13, and is bottomless. The frame part 11 has mutually opposed two parts 11a and 11b and mutually opposed two parts 11c and 11d, and forms an opening 15 by the four parts 11a to 11d. The connecting part 13 is connected to the mutually opposed two parts 11c and 11d in the frame part 11, and extended between two parts 11c and 11d so as to divide the opening 15. The connecting part 13 is made to be connected to the respective parts 11c and 11d of the frame part 11 by being placed between convex parts 44 formed on the 11c and 11d of the frame part 11 to which each of first parts 13a corresponds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
