摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a conventional rotation angle detection device wherein mountability of a first Hall IC 3 and a second Hall IC 4 is poor because they are arranged individually on positions separated by 90°under the outer fringe of a magnet 2, and the detected angle accuracy is lowered because of the difference of output fluctuation caused by a partial environmental difference (temperature condition difference). SOLUTION: In this device, the first and second Hall elements are arranged adjacently, and the magnetic detection surface of the second Hall element is arranged in the approximately orthogonal direction to the magnetic detection surface of the first Hall element. Therefore, only one place is required as a mounting space for the first and second Hall IC's 3, 4. Consequently, the degree of freedom of mountability of the first and second Hall IC's 3, 4 is heightened, to thereby improve the mountability. Since the first and second Hall IC's 3, 4 are arranged adjacently, output deviations caused by a temperature change become approximately equal, to thereby acquire the excellent and stable angle accuracy.
