PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle group for a display device, in which a clear image is continuously retained, sufficient contrast of density is exhibited and ample concealing power is provided, and to provide an image display device and an image forming device. SOLUTION: The particle group for the display device includes at least a kind of particles for the display device, having properties of being able to be positively charged and a color and at least a kind of particles for the display device having the properties of being able to be negatively charged and color, and is characterized by having titanium oxide which has been subjected to hydrophilic treatment, which exists in at least a kind of particles for the display device and whose content is 15-30 mass % of the particles for the display device containing titanium oxide. The image display device comprises the particle group for the display device sealed in between a pair of substrates placed opposite to each other. The image forming device is equipped with an electric field generating means, to generate electric field corresponding to an image and forms an image by using the image display device.
