PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deformation of a coil base for fixing a coil and a magnetic body and also to restrain the heat generation of the coil and the magnetic body. SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic induction heating type fixing device used in an electrostatic recording type image forming apparatus, the end of the coil base is elongated in a direction where the magnetic body 2 and the coil 1 are included, and space among the magnetic body 2, the coil 1 and the coil base 3 is partially or totally filled with filler 6 and hardened.
