摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence detecting apparatus for avoiding unnecessary irradiation of an excitation light when a sample is excited by the excitation light having two or more wavelengths and spectrally observed. SOLUTION: In a method, a light source section has at least two or more light sources, the light sources irradiate the sample with lights having different wavelengths, the sample is scanned by controlling the irradiated lights, a fluorescence from the sample is spectrally detected, an electrical signal is photoelectrically converted and A/D-converted (analog/digital-converted), the converted digital signal as image data is outputted to a display section through a CPU and a frame memory, a user inputs a control parameter from an input section, and excitation light irradiation timing is determined from an excitation wavelength of the excitation light and a wavelength region detected by the fluorescence detecting apparatus.
