PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly strong filter excellent in processibility and also excellent in heat resistance and durability. SOLUTION: The filter 10 comprises seal parts 14 and 15 made of photocurable resin in both end parts 12a and 12b of a cylindrical chrysanthemum type element 11 in the axial direction and a ring-like reinforcing member (a reinforcing sheet 18) having a large number of voids is installed in the inside of each seal part. The reinforcing member is preferably a reinforcing sheet having a mesh structure. Also, the reinforcing member is preferable to be made of a synthetic resin and having a ratio (T1/T2) of the light transmittance (T1) of the reinforcing member to the light transmittance (T2) of the photocurable resin in a range of 0.7 to 1.3.
