PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary gas oven which always makes effective heating/agitating action corresponding to various foods and the cooking method. SOLUTION: The device consists of dual structure of inner/outer cylinders (10), (11) which are respectively lined with nonthermal insulation lining layers (16), (22), every a plural number of upper/lower idling rollers (30), (37) supporting the inner cylinder are pivoted on the outer cylinder (11), upper/lower engaging flanges (40), (41) which respectively engage with the idling rollers (30), (37) integrally project out from the inner cylinder (10) to the facing place, and the inner cylinder (10) which connects an input sprocket (19) which integrally projects out from the lower edge opening of the inner cylinder (10) and an output sprocket (44) of an inner cylinder forward/backward spin driving motor (42) which is contained in a motor storing box (12) of the outer cylinder (11) with a drive transmission chain (45) and holds a bowl pot (7) being heated with a gas burner (46) is set so that it can be horizontally turned against the outer cylinder (11).
