Method for fitting carburettor to hand power tool such as chainsaw or angle grinder using a connecting flange to grip the inlet duct of the engine

A simple cost effective method for connecting a carburettor to a hand power tool such as a chainsaw or angle grinder has a connecting flange (10) on the carburettor body gripping around an inlet duct connected to the engine. The connecting flange has an inward facing profiled groove which clips over an outer profiled lip of the inlet duct (10) of the engine. Alternately the profiled groove is around the inlet duct with the profiled lip around the inside of the connecting flange.
