PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a reciprocating element to self-travel within a fixed range not only at the time of going but also at the time of returning of a reciprocating element. SOLUTION: The action mechanism for a reciprocating element comprises a moving element having an installing portion 20 to the reciprocating element 1, and a base 3 having a guiding portion 34 of the moving element 2. The guiding portion 34 of the base 3 comprises a going path guiding part 341, and a returning path guiding part 344 facing the going path guiding part 341. The moving element 2 guided the going path guiding part 341 for going accumulates moving force in a going direction before moved to the middle of going, and then completely gone by releasing the accumulate moving force from the middle. The moving element 2 guided from the completely going position to the returning path guiding part 344 for returning accumulates moving force in a returning direction before moved to the middle of returning, and then completely returned by releasing the accumulated moving force from the middle.
