PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting structure whereby light having a plurality of wavelength distributions can be emitted from the single light-emitting structure, high-density integration can be achieved, and polarization and an emission mode pattern of emitted light can be controlled. SOLUTION: A stacked three-dimensional photonic crystal is configured by stacking a plurality of three-dimensional photonic crystals having different photonic band gaps.
