PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly disperse metal oxide particulates into the polycarbonate resin composition during a polycarbonate resin composition manufacturing process using melt polymerization, to improve the degree of polymerization of the polycarbonate resin constituting the polycarbonate resin composition, and to improve the mechanical strength, heat resistance, impact resistance, transparency, and dimensional stability of the polycarbonate resin composition. SOLUTION: A sol of metal oxide particulates is prepared, with its pH adjusted to be 6-8, and is mixed into a dicarbonate compound and into a diol compound. Melt polymerization of the two compounds is carried out for obtaining a polycarbonate resin composition with metal oxide particulates dispersed therein. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
