PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately determining the color of a metallic coating at a desired angle. SOLUTION: In this method, spectral reflectance, measured under the conditions of five angles on the metallic coating and regression formula/regression coefficient computed by this spectral reflectance, measured under the condition of five angles on the metallic coating, are used to determine the spectral reflectance at desired angles of the metallic coating.
