PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire pressure monitoring device capable of reducing improper operations to give a warning irrespective of the normal state of the tire pressure. SOLUTION: The tire pressure monitoring device has a warning determination unit 6a which detects the air pressure of each tire as each tire pressure, compare the detected tire pressure with the warning threshold, and provides a command of giving a warning when it is determined that the tire pressure is dropped. The warning determination unit 6a sets two kinds of pressure values of the emergency warning threshold A and the extension warning threshold B as the warning thresholds, and provides a command of giving a warning when the tire pressure is lower than the emergency warning threshold A. When the tire pressure is between the emergency warning threshold A and the extension warning threshold B, a traveling determination unit 6b determines whether or not a vehicle 9 is in a traveling state. A command of giving a warning is provided by the warning determination unit 6a when the traveling determination unit 6b determines that the vehicle 9 is in a traveling state and the re-detected tire pressure is still below the extension warning threshold B.
