ENGINE DRIVER FOOTSTEP DEVICE FOR ROLLING STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a floor-surface lifting device that allows lifting of the floor surface and adjustment of the height position with respect to a driving position in a small space of the cab floor part of a rolling stock, and to reduce the installation area of the floor-surface lifting device and thickness dimension in lifting down the floor surface. SOLUTION: This engine driver footstep device is installed on the cab floor part of the rolling stock and adjusts the height position of the cab floor surface with respect to the driving position. The engine driver footstep device comprises: a fixed frame to be fixed to the cab floor part; a movable floor supported liftably with respect to the fixed frame; and a driving mechanism for lifting up and down the movable floor, and the height position of the movable floor is freely adjusted with respect to the driving position.
