PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance by efficiently using equipped A/D converters. SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging device is provided with the same number of A/D converters 904-j and 904-k as RF coils 81-j and 81-k. By a distributor 902 and a switch 903, magnetic resonance signals outputted by the RF coils 81-j and 81-k are inputted respectively to the A/D converters 904-j and 904-k in a first state, and a magnetic resonance signal outputted by the RF coil 81-j is inputted to the A/D converters 904-j and 904-k in a second state.
