[PROBLEMS] A technique with which exhaust gas in a combustion chamber of a combustion-type work tool can be discharged in a rational way. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A combustion-type work tool has a movable member (126) movable so as to vary the volumes of combustion chambers (121, 122), and an atmosphere chamber (171) is provided in the work tool. The volume of the atmosphere chamber (171) is increased when the movable member moves in the direction of reducing the volume of the combustion chambers, and the volume of the atmosphere chamber is reduced when the movable member moves in the direction of increasing the volume of the combustion chambers. After the completion of processing by a piston member (155), when the movable member (126) moves in the direction of increasing the volume of the atmosphere chamber (171) while reducing the volume of the combustion chamber (122), air is sucked into the atmosphere chamber (171) from the outside while exhaust gas in the combustion chamber (122) is discharged to outside the chamber, and when the movable member (126) moves in the direction of reducing the volume of the atmosphere chamber (171) while increasing the volume of the combustion chamber (122), exhaust gas remaining in the combustion chamber (121) is discharged to outside the chamber while compressing the air in the atmosphere chamber (171) to force it into the combustion chamber (121).
|
