PUSH-PUSH TYPE LATCH ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-push type latch assembly which operates easily and surely even after long use.

SOLUTION: The push-push latch assembly comprises gripping arms which are opposed to each other and are moved between an opened position and a closed position when a slide in a housing is moved in the axial direction. The gripping arms have pins arranged in channels of the housing. The channels are angled so that the gripping arms may be moved to a completely opened position and a completely closed position, and that separation of the gripping arms may be controlled at each position of the slide in relation to the housing.
