<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower requisite power capacity without increasing the requisite space of an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator control device is equipped with a main motor 8 to rotate the main sheave 9 of a plurality of sheaves supporting an elevator car 10 and a balance weight 12 through a rope 13 in such a way as movable in the vertical direction and an auxiliary motor 30 attached to the auxiliary sheave 11 installed near the balance weight. The main motor 8 is driven chiefly by the electric power supplied from an external power supply 1. The auxiliary motor 30 is put in regenerative operation to accumulate the regenerated power when the elevator is in the regenerative operation and supplies the accumulated power when the elevator is in the power running to the auxiliary motor 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
