<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgery apparatus capable of enhancing force of holding or cutting an object to be operated comparing to that of a conventional apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: According to a stapler 10, an axial force of a slide member 16 can be converted to turning force of the movable clamp 15 amplifying more than that of the the conventional ones, because a toggle mechanism for converting the axial force of a slide member 16 to the turning force of the movable clamp 15 is constituted of a pair of toggle links 41, 42 and an acting force providing link 44. Thereby, the force for holding or cutting the object to be operated between movable clamp 15 and an immobile clamp 17 can be enhanced compared to that of the conventional ones. Furthermore, the constitution of the distal end portion of a base member 14 can be made compact because the pair of toggle links 41, 42 are arranged in a direction (a longitudinal direction) in which the base member 14 extends. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
