<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical catheter tube having an ultrafine diameter which could not be attained in a conventional microcatheter and having flexibility and kink resistance and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This medical catheter tube formed by covering polyimide over a quartz glass tube is so formed that its outside diameter and inside diameter are 1-1,000 μm and 0.01-990 μm respectively, its surface is disposed and stuck with projections at an appropriate interval apart, the forefront part has a part formed of a tubular polyimide alone by removing the quarts glass, the tubular polyimide part in the forefront part is formed into a tapered shape or a round shape, the circumference of the forefront part or the whole part is coated with metal of X-ray non-transmission property, and the circumference of the forefront part or the whole part is coated with a hydrophilic material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
