PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram recording device which can improve the mean recording transfer rate. SOLUTION: In the hologram recording device 100 for recording information on a recording layer by a shift multiplex recording system, the hologram recording device is provided with: a multiplicity specifying means 51 for specifying the multiplicity of the information already recorded on the recording layer 140; an irradiation condition determination means 52 for determining the irradiation condition concerned with the irradiation energy quantity of a recording light for the irradiation to record information on the recording layer 140, on the basis of the multiplicity specified by the multiplicity specifying means 51; and a recording light irradiation means 1 for irradiating the recording layer 140 with the recording light, according to the irradiation condition determined by the irradiation condition determination means 52.
