PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a net list generation method for generating a net list of a target memory by providing a control circuit which performs control so that the optimal combination of memory macros is selected and accessed, from a previously registered library, and to provide a computer program. SOLUTION: When the target memory is constituted by extending word width by one memory macro, when target word width of the target memory is larger in comparison with the maximum macro word width of the memory macro (S5: YES), a memory macro having the maximum macro word width is selected (S11) under a condition that first word width ratio (WR1) which is ratio of the target word width to the maximum macro word width is 2<SP>n</SP>and first bit width ratio (BR1) which is the ratio of bit width of the target memory to bit width of the memory macro having the maximum macro word width becomes below 2<SP>(-n)</SP>(S9: YES).
