PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a community analyzing apparatus by which an appropriate community can be found without viewing contents of e-mail. SOLUTION: The community analyzing apparatus 300 has an acquisition part 310 which acquires information including at least a sender identification symbol for identifying a sender of transmitted e-mail and a recipient identification symbol for identifying a recipient of the transmitted e-mail from a predetermined mail server, a common degree of interest analysis part 332 which calculates common degree of interest representing the degree of interest common to the sender and the recipient from the information acquired by the acquisition part 310, and an analysis part 333 which analyzes a community formed by e-mail users from the common degree of interest obtained by the common degree of interest analysis part 332. The analysis part 333 calculates a relevance ratio among communities by using a degree of interest matrix to analyze the community formed by the e-mail users. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
