PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clinical sample processing device capable of dispensing with report of abnormality information for a device to a maintenance company and preventing outflow of sample processing information that is personal information. SOLUTION: This clinical sample processing device 1 comprises a smear formation device 3; a control part 4a of a personal computer 4 transmitting history information such as abnormality information of the smear formation device 3 to a maintenance management device (server) 50 through a network at the time of shutdown, and transmitting emergency information of the history information to the maintenance management device (server) 50 through the network without waiting for shutdown; and a control part 3a of the smear formation device 3 transmitting the propriety of smear of the device 3 (sample processing information) to a host computer (user management device) 40 through the network.
