PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water mixing valve using lever operation for adjusting the flow rate and temperature of hot water, with a slider guide having improved slidability without causing abnormal noises during the lever operation. SOLUTION: The water mixing valve A comprises a valve mechanism 4 consisting of a fixed plate 18 having a water supply hole 20 and a hot water supply hole 21 and a movable plate 19 having a mixing chamber 27 and mounted in case 3, a slider 30 fitted to the movable plate 19, and an arm 32 engaging with the other end of the slider 30 for rotation in the slider guide 33 stored in the case 3. With the operation of the lever 7 linked to the other end of the arm 32, the slider 30 and the slider guide 33 slide in the case 3 and the movable plate 19 slides on the fixed plate 18 to make the flow rate and temperature of hot water adjustable.
