摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code error rate measurement apparatus and a code error rate measurement method for automatically setting a clock phase and a data threshold voltage to a center of an opening of an eye pattern at high speed with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The code error rate measurement apparatus for measuring a code error rate of data while synchronizing a clock with the data is provided with: a clock phase detection section for automatically setting the clock phase to a phase within a prescribed range; a data threshold voltage detection section for automatically setting the data threshold voltage for binary processing to a voltage within a prescribed range; a phase threshold value stable state detection section for detecting a stable state of the clock phase and the data threshold value on the basis of the clock phase set by the clock phase detection section and the data threshold voltage set by the data threshold voltage detection section; a code error rate measurement section for measuring the code error rate on the basis of the phase threshold value set by the phase threshold value stable state detection section; and a synchronization establishment detection section for detecting optimum setting values of the clock phase and the data threshold voltage at an eye pattern opening on the basis of a result of the measurement by the code error rate measurement section.
