PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wetting detector for sensing feces and urine in a throwaway paper diaper used by an infant, a bedridden sick person, an aged person, or the like, by the operation of separate sensors to inform a nurse or the like staying at some distance. SOLUTION: The wetting detector for the throwaway paper diaper is composed of a diaper body, a winding implement for supporting the diaper body, and a detecting receiver positioned at some distance. A urine sensor is located in a predetermined position of a front contact part, and a feces sensor serving as a moisture absorbing part at a predetermined space is separately mounted to a buttocks contact part. Three conductive wires which are a conductive wire for urine, a conductive wire for feces, and a common conductive wire used as a common wire of the conductive wires of urine and feces, are disposed at a sensor connection end part.
