PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal display with excellent impact resistance even when the display is made thin and light-weight. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display unit 1 including a liquid crystal panel 15 is housed in a frame member 2 with a picture display face S exposed. The frame member has a base plate 22 opposed to a non-display face B of the liquid crystal display unit 1. An opening part 23 is formed on the base plate 22. A buffer member 18 is loaded on the non-display face B of the liquid crystal display unit, which can be inserted into the opening part 23 of the base plate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
